SEC Football Week 1: 2026 Season Opens With Four Days of Action

The 2026 Southeastern Conference football season gets underway Thursday, Sept. 3, with SEC teams taking the field across four days. The opening weekend features 16 games, beginning Thursday night and concluding Sunday in Nashville.
