Anne Marie Armstrong
Analyst
Anne Marie Armstrong was born and raised in the Norcross/Peachtree Corners area just north of Atlanta, where she was a three-sport athlete before continuing her basketball career at the University of Georgia. Following college, she was drafted by the Atlanta Dream and went on to play professionally throughout South America and Europe, gaining valuable experience competing at the highest levels of the game. Now entering her fifth season as the color analyst for the University of Georgia women’s basketball team, Armstrong also serves as an on-air analyst for Hoops & Hers™, where she combines professional playing experience, basketball knowledge, and broadcasting expertise to deliver insightful analysis and engaging commentary. Passionate about the women’s game, she brings high energy, authenticity, and a genuine love for basketball, connecting with fans through thoughtful conversations, compelling stories, and expert analysis.
Kina Gunnels
Analyst
Kina is a bold creator and sports podcaster whose work is rooted in a lifelong love for women’s basketball, the game she grew up playing and now proudly covers with intention, authenticity, and love. As a content creator focused on sports, books, fashion, and travel, Kina blends culture, storytelling, and fandom into a style that feels fresh, fun, and lively. She brings sharp insight, authentic perspective, and a fan-first voice to every conversation, especially when highlighting the WNBA and the athletes who make the league special. Kina’s work centers joy, representation, and genuine passion for women’s sports. Outside of creating, she is a wife and mom to two amazing boys, an avid reader, and a jet setter who brings real life energy, humor and lived experience to everything she does.
Courtney Lumpkin
Analyst
Courtney Lumpkin began her basketball journey in Essex County, New Jersey, where she played for the East Orange All Stars before earning a full athletic scholarship to Monmouth University. There, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Art before continuing her basketball career in Atlanta, where she competed in semi-professional basketball. Lumpkin later earned a master’s degree in Sport Psychology, giving her a unique perspective on the mental side of competition, player development, and team performance. Her background as both an athlete and sport psychology professional allows her to analyze the game beyond the box score. As an on-air analyst for Hoops & Hers™, Lumpkin combines her playing experience, basketball knowledge, and passion for the women’s game to deliver thoughtful analysis, engaging conversations, and authentic perspectives. She is committed to helping fans better understand the game while sharing the stories and insights that make women’s basketball unique.
