Dream Set Franchise Scoring Record in 113-96 Victory Over Fever

The Atlanta Dream delivered a historic offensive performance Saturday night, defeating the Indiana Fever 113-96 and setting a new franchise record for points scored in a single game.

After trailing 37-30 at the end of the first quarter, Atlanta responded with a dominant effort on both ends of the floor, outscoring Indiana 83-59 over the final three quarters to secure its third consecutive 100-point victory.

The Dream’s starting lineup of Jordin Canada, Allisha Gray, Rhyne Howard, Naz Hillmon, and Angel Reese continued its winning formula, improving to 11-3 when starting together.

Atlanta’s offense was firing from the opening tip, finishing the night shooting 50 percent from the field while scoring 54 points in the paint. The Dream also turned defense into offense, forcing 19 Indiana turnovers that resulted in 18 points.

Rhyne Howard led Atlanta with 24 points, while Allisha Gray added 22 points. Naz Hillmon recorded a season-high 19 points and got off to a blazing start, scoring 13 points in the first quarter alone, the highest-scoring quarter of her WNBA career.

Angel Reese finished with 18 points and eight rebounds while reaching a historic milestone. Following her sixth rebound of the night, Reese recorded the 1,000th rebound of her WNBA career, becoming the fastest player in league history to reach the mark in just 79 games.

Jordin Canada controlled the tempo throughout the contest, recording a double-double with 12 points and 12 assists while committing no turnovers. Canada’s leadership helped Atlanta maintain its offensive rhythm as the Dream pulled away in the second half.

Atlanta’s balanced attack continued a historic trend, as Canada, Gray, Howard, Hillmon, and Reese all scored in double figures for the second consecutive game. It marks the first time in franchise history that all five starters have accomplished the feat in back-to-back games.

Defensively, the Dream tightened up after halftime, holding the Fever to just 15 third-quarter points and 37 total points in the second half. Atlanta’s pressure disrupted Indiana’s offense throughout the game, forcing 19 turnovers, including seven by Caitlin Clark.

Clark led the Fever with a game-high 26 points and seven assists, while Aliyah Boston added 13 points and a team-high nine rebounds.

With the victory, Atlanta improved to 11-4 on the season and moved its all-time record against Indiana to 36-34 overall and 21-12 at home. The Dream’s record-setting night further showcased one of the league’s most explosive offenses as Atlanta continues to build momentum heading into the heart of the season.
