Roster Continues to Change
Although Atlanta finalized its initial 53-man roster, the Falcons did not stop making moves.
The team placed linebacker JD Bertrand on injured reserve and subsequently added linebacker Josh Woods to the roster. Atlanta also made additional roster moves as it continued to build its depth heading into the regular season.
The Falcons acquired defensive lineman Gervon Dexter Sr. from the Chicago Bears in a trade that sent cornerback Clark Phillips III and a fifth-round draft pick to Chicago.
With the initial roster now established, Atlanta turns its attention toward the regular season and the challenge of turning a new-look roster into a competitive team under Stefanski.
