North Gwinnett Makes a Statement, Defeats Grayson 37–22 in Corky Kell + Dave Hunter Classic Opener

North Gwinnett made a statement on opening night of the 2026 Corky Kell + Dave Hunter Classic, jumping on Grayson early and holding on for a 37–22 victory Wednesday night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The matchup was one of the marquee games of the 35th annual Classic, which returned to Mercedes-Benz Stadium for its opening night.

Quarterback Elam Rahman was nearly flawless through the air, completing 8 of 9 passes for 147 yards and three touchdowns. His efficiency helped North Gwinnett consistently move the football and capitalize on its opportunities.
