ATLANTA, GA — Jayce Johnson, the Texas A&M-committed starting quarterback at Lowndes High School in Valdosta, Georgia, is heading to Atlanta this month as a member of Fast Houston, one of the most decorated youth 7v7 programs in the country. Johnson and the Fast Houston squad will compete in The Sevens — a prestigious national high school 7v7 showcase held February 28–March 1, 2026, at North Dekalb Stadium (3688 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Chamblee, GA 30341). The winner of the 18U division will take home a $20,000 cash prize donated directly to their team.

The Sevens Football is widely regarded as the most anticipated high school 7v7 tournament of the year. The 2026 edition will feature 32 elite teams — 16 in each age division (15U and 18U) — competing first in a round-robin format on Saturday before an intense knockout-style showdown on “Championship Sunday.” Beyond the competition, the event promises top-notch entertainment, a DJ, and an electric atmosphere at one of Atlanta’s premier football venues.

Johnson is the starting quarterback at Lowndes High School in Valdosta, Georgia, heading into his senior season this August. Already committed to Texas A&M University — one of the premier programs in the SEC — Johnson enters his final prep season with the eyes of college football squarely on him. Competing at The Sevens serves as both a proving ground and a critical tuneup as he prepares to lead the Lowndes Vikings in what promises to be a landmark senior campaign.

Johnson has been a committed member of Fast Houston for nearly two years, training and competing alongside some of the top high school talent in the nation out of Houston, TX. He is reunited on the Fast Houston roster with his Lowndes High School teammate Bubba Brown — a pairing that Johnson says brings out the best in both of them.
