GOLDEN STATE VALKYRIES ANNOUNCE CHAMPIONSHIP PARADE INFORMATION

Valkyries Championship Parade Presented By Kaiser Permanente To Be Held Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 12 p.m. Along The Embarcadero

The 2026 WNBA Champion Golden State Valkyries and the City of San Francisco will host the Valkyries Championship Parade, presented by Kaiser Permanente, on Wednesday, November 4 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The parade will travel along The Embarcadero, starting at the Ferry Building near Mission Street and ending at King and 2nd Street. Fans can begin lining up along the parade route at 9 a.m. on the bay side of Embarcadero from Mission Street to 2nd Street.

“We are the Bay’s team, from our practice facility in Oakland to our home court in San Francisco and everywhere in between,” said Golden State Valkyries President Jess Smith. “Our fans have been with us since day one. They sold out every game, traveled with us and made Ballhalla one of the best environments in sports. This parade is our chance to celebrate this championship with all of them.”

Fans will join the Valkyries players, coaches and staff, along with Oakland Mayor Barbara Lee, San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie, San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan, city officials from across the Bay, and Bay Area icons and legends, to celebrate this historic moment. WNBA Finals Most Valuable Player Gabby Williams will bang the GSV drum alongside Mayor Daniel Lurie to start the parade in a nod to the celebrated tradition that kicks off every game in Ballhalla. Fan opportunities will include a viewing area, presented by OLLY, a championship merchandise truck, and various fan activation zones along the parade route.

“All season long, our fans have proven over and over again why they’re the best in the world,” said Valkyries Head Coach Natalie Nakase. “I can’t even express how amazing it was to finish off this Finals series in front of them in Ballhalla, to celebrate everything we’ve poured into each other to become Champions. This is as much theirs as it is ours. We can’t wait to bring the 2026 WNBA Championship Trophy to them and celebrate what we’ve accomplished together.”
