  • Araiza punted five times for 238 yards (47.6 yards per punt) and landed all five of his punts inside the 20-yard line in Kansas City’s 30-27 win at Las Vegas. Araiza’s five punts inside the 20-yard line are the most in a single game this season. Holding a three-point lead with under 90 seconds to play, Araiza pinned the Raiders at their own one-yard line, helping Kansas City improve to 4-0 on the season. He also rushed for 12 yards on a successful fake punt in the first quarter.
  • This is Araiza’s first career Player of the Week award. He becomes the fourth Chiefs punter to earn the honor and the first since Tommy Townsend (Week 15, 2022).
  • Araiza becomes the second former San Diego State punter to win a Special Teams Player of the Week award, joining Mike Saxon (Week 6, 1993).
