Unbeaten Wolverines take momentum into matchup with dangerous Fellowship Christian squad
By: Jordan Dubrof
The spotlight turns to two of Georgia’s prominent private-school football programs Friday night when Prince Avenue Christian travels to face Fellowship Christian in a matchup featuring two teams that have already made plenty of noise during the 2026 season.
Prince Avenue Christian enters the contest 3–0, while Fellowship Christian comes in at 2–1, setting the stage for a matchup that could provide another significant test for both programs.
For Prince Avenue, the season has quickly developed into one of momentum and high expectations.
The Wolverines opened the season with a 30–21 victory over Thomson, followed with a 38–15 win over Greater Atlanta Christian, and then continued their strong start with a 56–17 victory over Trinity Christian.
That victory over GAC was particularly significant. Prince Avenue’s 38–15 win knocked the previously top-ranked Spartans from the No. 1 position in ITG Next’s private Class 2A–4A rankings, with Prince Avenue moving into the top spot in the Sept. 13 update. (ITG Next)

Wolverines Bringing a High-Powered Offense
Through three games, Prince Avenue has scored 124 points, an average of more than 41 points per game.
The Wolverines have demonstrated an ability to generate points in multiple ways, and their recent offensive production has made them one of the teams attracting statewide attention.
The challenge Friday will be maintaining that production against a Fellowship Christian defense that has already faced quality competition this season.
Prince Avenue’s start has also placed additional attention on every upcoming game. With the Wolverines now receiving recognition among the state’s top private-school programs, each opponent becomes an opportunity to make another statement.
Fellowship Christian Ready for the Challenge

That performance demonstrated Fellowship Christian’s ability to establish control early and withstand a second-half push.
Now the Paladins face a considerably different challenge against a Prince Avenue team that has been consistently producing points.
